Shot deer not bleeding. Any help much appreciated!

Congratulations. I've never hunted with Core Locts. I've handloaded Hornady Interlocks for at least 30 years. They are a little "soft". They work good but, usually won't exit with a shoulder or neck shot.

had a deer run 75-80 yards after literally busting its chest open with a 300 mag, and have had deer fall in their tracks after shooting them with a .243, the 300 has a bullet almost twice the weight of the 243 ,some deer must have a survival instinct stronger than others.

hydrostatic shock or whatever that means. That .243 dirt naps deer. It's incredible how well that caliber just works on whitetails.

I put my .270 away after I lost 4-5 well enough hit deer. More than once they got knocked down and then would get up and run. No blood, no deer.

If I'm in need of a 300 yard or in open field gun, I'm grabbing that .243 over my .270 everyday.

I've also had 2 different buddies shoot 4 different deer inside of 100 yards each and have less than optimal results from their 30-06. some bullets perform better at different angles on different deer.
