I stepped on my sight this year during the excitement of field dressing my deer I killed with my bow,and I managed to finish the season with it,but I need a new one..While looking through the sights at BPS,I notcied there are a whole lot of sights to choose from..Is there any one brand in paticular that is better than the others or a brand I should stay away from? I do want atleast a 3 pin sight, maybe 5 so I can play around at 50 and 60 yds..Never would attempt a shot on a deer at that range..

But I need some advice..Im doing some switch ups on my bow before next year, gonna upgrade my strings, gonna upgrade to a tubless peep, and of course a new sight, and more than likely as the summer gets closer im gonna be asking for recomendations on some broadheads..Im gonna try something differ than the muzzys i've been shooting..Anyway,for now, lets focus on the sight..

I had a HHA on my bow, but I switched to just a plain Cobra single pin sight. Didn't care for all the adjustments of the HHA.

If you want a 3 to 5 pin sight.. Copper John, or Extreme.

Many good sights out there. If I was buying new I would make sure I got ones with .019 pins. I have .029 now and they cover up more of the target than I like.

I was wondering about the size of the pins also.I figured the smaller pins would be best for accuracy, but may be harder to see in low light conditions..

Spot Hogg Hunter Hogg-It with .010 pins. You can't beat the durability of Spot Hoggs and their customer service is top notch.

Yep! Spot Hogg all the way!

Trophy Ridge Alpha V5 or V3! I love mine! I didn't know if I would like the vertical pins but after using them for a season I love them! I think it really opens up the sight. It is super bright also! Mine has the .019 pins and I have no trouble seeing them even after it gets dark.Tough also,I have drop my bow a few times this year and it has stayed dead on.
Whatever sight you get make sure it has a metal sight housing and as much fiber optics as you can get!

I also shot a Trophy Ridge Alpha V5. But now I'm shooting a G5 XR with 0.19 pins and love it. Fiber optics have come so far and sights are what you like to be honest...

Lots of quality sights on the market.I really like me Sword Twilight Hunter. No matter which one you choose make sure its pins are on dual tracks.I recommended a Viper to a friend, afterward he said the pins would not get close enough together.5 pins all on same track dont work on todays faster bows.Viper does make them with dual tracks also.
Good luck.
