Who the heck makes "custom" calls from prefab kits?

A bunch of folks do this. I could name names, but it would offend a bunch of people and turn this nice thread into a nasty nightmare

I do and they sound great to me. No way I would ever call one of my assembled calls custom. One day I want to buy a lathe and play with the big boys.
