Depending on the lake, you may need permission from TVA or the Corps of Engineers

Unless it is a TWRA lake, TWRA is not going to be able to give you permission.

If it is a TVA lake, the request needs to go to them. If it is a ACOE Lake, they would be the one to grant a permit.

We put beds in kylake, have never called anyone.We have saw a game warden a couple times while dropping structure and they never say a thing.We use wood and believe it holds more fish than plastic.

I'm fairly certain we used cedars. That woulda been 15+ years ago. We also sank some bags of corn but I don't know they done anything besides ruin good deer bait
