I have been shooting mech. broadheads the past few years and am thinking about going to Slick Tricks. Anyone shootem?

Deadly on anything! I don't use slick tricks, but i have used them before, and they are the only broadhead besides the G5 Strikers (what I normally use) you will find on my arrows! With Tricks or Strikers you will get: no chance of failure because of moving parts, no loss of energy because of moving parts, blades are scary sharp and can easily be resharpened, low-profile ferrule which results in true flight and steep blade angle which causes great wound channels.

Man speaks the truth!

I like them...just don't like the owner...lol. If anyone is on AT they might know why. I just can't give him anymore of my money after the way he acted on there...lol. They are great broadheads though.

What got me was how the owner was bashing mechanicals...and aluminum ferrules and then comes out with one....lol. Did anyone see his rants on AT last year? It was o e of those things you had to read it to believe it....lol.

I read Gary's posts and he was not out of line. Sethro2 and others made a HUGE deal out of his posts. I've talked to Gary before...top notch guy. AT is loaded with online super heroes that bash everything.

I agree ut....but are you sure you read all of Garys posts last year? He went off...lol. You are correct though....at is the super hero capital....lol. Its like anything else on there. Keyboard Gangsters....lol. The only thing that bothered me was he came out with what he hashed for so long and so much.

Anyway...to the OP they are good broadheads.

Matt McPherson done the same thing though...talking about how superior the single cam Mathews bows were versus hybrid/binary/dual cam bows. It was their marketing campaign for years. Then they saw the tide turn in favor of the dual cam bows, and went for their part of the pie....thus the Monster series bows. Arguably, the hottest selling lineup they've had in recent years. You gotta go with what the customer wants...

Slick Tricks are probably my favorite fixed blade broadhead.

I agree crow....I guess I could ha e taken him wrong. On the Mathews thing....I personally don't prefer them. I do like their Creed & Heli-m bows. I just hate there big huge grips. For myself...I shoot PSE. I also like Hoyt....just haven't bought one in a while. I like the speed & power of PSE.

I've met Gary myself. He is a class act. When he asked me what I shot I told him Grim Reapers, he simply said they were also some great heads. And had nothing bad to say about any of his competition. If I ever go to fix blade heads I will go with Slick Tricks.

PSE ain't a bad bow. I owned a Evo last year until I destroyed the limb on it. I hope they have the module problem fixed this year. The screws would come loose and if you didn't watch it, you would end up like me...module screw slamming into the limb and taking a chunk out of it. This year they went to torx screws...maybe that'll help. I've not heard any problems so far.

Will the Slick Tricks work on the Easton Axis N Fused arrows? I was thinking that they wouldn't becasue of the deep six inserts.

If I'm not mistaken, there are only a few broadheads that will work with that insert, and Tricks aren't one of them. If I remember correctly, only NAP broadheads will work in the Deep Six insert.

Not to hijack the thread, But, I did some checking and the Axis arrows will use bother Hit and Deep Six inserts.
