My dad and I went out to Gibson County Lake and broke in my new scanoe finally. The wind was pretty bad and I forgot my anchor so minnows for crappie didnt last long. We hit up some protected bays throwing topwater plugs and shallow crankbaits and I managed to pull in a 13 and 14 incher. The boat was a success and I got some good ideas on how to make it better. Rally looking forward to more dry, warmer days that I have off to get back out on the water.
