Smallmouth near Yanahli

Hey guys,

I'm heading up to scout Yanahli this Saturday for deer, but might bring a pole with me in case we have a chance to fish a little. I'll have two kiddos with me that have never caught a smallmouth. Heck, I've never caught a smallmouth since they are pretty rare here in Alabama. Do y'all have any suggestions for a spot in that area to fish for an hour or so? Thanks

As well as any decent size tributary. Look for spots near swift water where current changes abruptly

I think Fountain Creek is the only large creek running into the duck off Sowell Mill Pike. Have caught several 3-5 pounders in the creek and river there.
