Smoked meatloaf

I did it. I used tomato sauce instead of BBQ though. It was really good, I'm always looking for different things to smoke. Today I'm gonna stuff some large Portobello caps with seafood and cheese.

We smoked 2 last night, one with ketchup other with Blues Hog BBQ sauce. Served with mashed taters, gravy, and ambrosia corn on the cob fresh from the garden

Decided to smoke some meatloaf and man oh man I wouldn't want it any other way from now on.
Man that looks good. I've got a great recipe I'd like to try that way. Wrapped in bacon. Adds a crunch and keeps it moist. Do you use a bread pan to get a perfect shape? I like that.

Looks good, I make smoked meatloaf at least once a month. I never use bread crumbs as a binder, just the ground beef (sometimes mix meat with venison, liver, or italian sausage), seasoning and eggs.
I also have made meat bombs. Basically mini-meatloafs in a ball with a serrano, jalapeño or a sweet pepper slice as a "fuse". Family loves them and they are individual serving size.
