Snub Nose Fans?

I break out one of my 642 Airweight every now and then. After installing the Apex spring kit the trigger squeeze is 100% better and I can feel where they're gonna drop the hammer. Love 'em!
How reliable is that kit? Any light strikes? I have a 642 and would like a better trigger.

Old colt detective that I got from a good friend right before the cancer took him. He had a great story about it saving him from a robbery .

I've run about 100 rounds through one of them and not a single problem. The other 2 have 20 or so rounds and no problems. That being said, I've heard of some issues over the years but all 3 of my 642s run flawlessly with those kits installed.

Colt Cobra Agent is my fav lightweight snubnose. This time of year I don't use a holster, just goes in my vest pocket.
Love the cobra! I used to have an original but foolishly sold it years ago. I'm hoping Colt releases an alloy framed version soon.

I'm a big Smith snubbie fan, makes me feel like I'm in Goodfellas when I'm fondling one... there's still a couple I want but I get on different firearm kicks

I prefer a full sized carry gun (G20). When my accessories don't permit something that large I carry a LadySmith loaded with .357. I practice with mostly .38sp and end with a round of .357s. Magnum ammo is not a lot of fun to shoot in that gun.

I installed a kit in my 637 I got from my dad after he passed away. Like you said, 100% better on the trigger and very smooth when shooting with having the hammer back first.

Any recommendations for an IWB holster for a 637? I don't need the best, but would like a comfortable one that doesn't break the bank to buy.

I have a simple suede holster with a clip. Mine is probably a Safariland, but they don't make anything but junk Kydex anymore. Its probably along the lines of this Bianchi at Academy. If you have a good belt, you can place it anywhere along your waist you like.

Thanks, I do like the looks of that one and it does have good reviews. I'd like to start carrying mine versus my Ruger 9mm, and this looks like a good option.

I'd be lying if I didn't admit how much I like em.. I have 6 or 8 J frames.. out to a 640 Pro in .357 and an old model 60 3" in .357. But, I like the 2.5" 66's even more and the 3" N frames.. Nothing like knowing you have that SW Lew Horton CS 3" 629(44 mag) or SW Lew Horton CS 3" 657(41 mag) in your carry holster… and a few speed loaders in your pocket.

my everyday carry is a 442 . it weighs so little that i frequently forget that i have it. have had to walk back to vehicle before to leave it, lol. like moondawg said above, they are a "get away from me" handgun. if you want my truck, make me an offer... but don't run up at a red light & grab my door handle wanting to talk about it though.

Smith revolvers are my all time favorite. I'm partial to N frames but they are all great. I frquently carry a model 12 airweight 38, a model 57 Mountain Gun 41 mag, a model 25 45 Colt, and a model 1950 45 acp.

Lately I have a strong jones for a new model 686 Mountain Gun 357 mag 7-shot.
