So how was the NWTF show?

Best time to go on Saturday is right at opening. By lunchtime after we walked through everything, it was packed tighter than a sardine can. Ended up leaving with our annual assortment of soup/dip mixes, seasonings, Companions shirts (including the re-release of full foliage) and what I was most excited for, Knight & Hale's re-release of the Ol' Yeller pot and push-pull calls. I had a K&H push-pull that my dad gave me from the turkey show probably 10 years ago that was mistakenly left on the ground next to me in last spring's turkey woods. I've been kicking myself ever since. When I saw they released them again (sounding better than previous versions, I might add), I had to get one, plus a pic with and signature from Harold Knight who was there bright and early Saturday morning.

I didn't go but my guess is NWTF raked in a bunch of money that will not go towards more access to hunt turkeys. Instead it'll go towards paying their C-suite $250k-$400k a year while turkey populations are in a freefall and also towards recruiting more people to hunt a declining population of turkeys on a declining number of acres to hunt.

Did I miss anything?

My son went Friday and Saturday and bought some new calls and had a good time. He said it was extremely crowded. I hate crowds so I knew better than to go.
