Finally getting around to posting the 8 I killed last week on my last hunt of the season. I had to watch him in the scope for what seemed like 15 minutes (probably was barely over a minute) before he turned broadside. Buck fever had set it pretty strong. I calmed myself to make the shot, but hit him too far forward and a little low at 247 steps. No problem for the 6.5 BLEEDmore. Bullet went through the shoulder and took out the heart. I took a few rough measurements with a sewing tape before I dropped him off at the taxidermist. 18" inside spread, 5" bases, 21.5"main beams, 9" G2s, 8" G3s.
