One bad half of football and we don't get one of the four best teams in the CFP. The committee should put Stanford in regardless of who wins this Iowa / MSU game. Yes I said that.

Who had one bad half and didn't make it in?

Funny how just a couple of weeks ago someone was all butt hurt saying Alabama was not even a top 8 team . Top 8 team . Let that one bite u in the rear for a second .

Butthurt is such a grown up word :tu:

We will revisit this "butthurt" situation after Bobby Stoops reminds Little Nicky who his daddy is again. :rotf:

Seems to fit do many of the whiners though :)

Kirk Ferentz has coached at Iowa for 16 years. Iowa has had two coaches in the past 35-40 years. Why would he leave an upper tier program where he has had considerable success and has brought to the brink of the playoff for an historically sub-tier program? Ferentz is the top dog in Iowa.
.
.
Let's get something straight... Iowa ABSOLUTELY IS NOT a top tier program. Not trying to take away from thegreat season they've had, but that's one great season in how many years? As for the history and reputation of the program, Iowa would do good to be ranked in the top 30.
.
.
Ferentz is definitely the top dog in Iowa, but that's not saying much where the state slogan is "Iowa- Come Hear the Corn Grow." Definitely not much going on there, and certainly not a 'destination job' for 99% of the coaches who have enjoyed half of Ferentz's recent success .

Iowa's coach already has the kitchen sink. I don't see USC matching much less beating what he already has at iowa as far as money and a winning team. Bet he gets a raise this year.

Have you ever been to Iowa? The kitchen sink in Iowa has a hand-operated pump for a faucet. :D
.
I wouldn't be surprised to learn the top dog in Iowa stock car racing drives a Pinto.

And South Carolina is even less of a destination job. Hence, they just hired another SEC re-tread just like last time. Like I predicted. Can't even beat The Citadel. :rotf:  :rotf:

I don't dislike Muschamp. He's a good coach and certainly didn't throw a nuclear bomb intro a Florida garbage dumpster like Dooley did at UT. But I do believe the Gamecocks settled for a coach As I said in the thread starter... Inexperienced AD may have blown it.

Not true at all. Does anyone living in the real world believe for a minute that Spurrier, Lou Holtz, or Muschamp would have taken the job at Iowa?
.
The answer to that one question settles it. :tu:

Well we agree on that. What an impressive list of re-treads. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

Wooooo  well played my man well played :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

.
Just saying... Creyer had to get out of the SEC. The pressure level had him on the edge of stroking out. There are no panic attacks in the big 10. :D

Ha Ha farmin. You are so original. You really exercised that brain of yours coming up with that one.

We Ohio State fans are thankful yet still disappointed in an 11-1 season. That's the best you ever have and ever will experience. I'll take our coach over any of your SEC re-treads any day. He produces national championships.

what about this year? championship? no conference ship and no playoff :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
