Spincast reels ?

My best friend goes fishing with me some and he is not a fisherman by any stretch.
He does "ok" with a spinning reel but I was thinking about picking up a good quality spincast reel for him, and maybe my wife, to use.
I did a search and it was rather surprising at the price ranges of the supposedly best ones.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with any of these.
From what I gather these are the top 7 out there.
Prices vary greatly between like bass pro and amazon.
Some of the pricing on amazon is kind of confusing so I'm not total sure of what the actual price is.

omega. they are cheaper than that. never buy a spincast without an oscillating spool and cut metal gears.

I bought 2 Pflueger Trions, rod and reel combos at Bass Pro. They are very smooth, well balanced. I think they were about $ 70 each.
