Squirrel White done climbed a tree

Hate to see him go, he was a disappointment this year couldn't stay healthy. Probably sick of beating bama frankly. Wish him well.

Hasn't bama had four WRs and a HB enter the portal as well? Why not make a thread on that? O yeah Oklahoma lost to Navy, and they put up 6 times the points Bama did.

All these dudes are one injury away from selling used cars or worse. Squandering a free education to chase money. And I'm not jaded, I graduated from UTK debt free (thanks Dad, scholarships, and work) as did my wife. I'm not sure my grades would even get me in today, but run fast or catch and ball and you're in! I used to enjoy college football in general but the NIL and transfer portal have ruined it IMHO.

Oklahoma had ZERO QUALITY wins this year but they are an SEC team . Glad the Midshipmen beat them today .

Vols got whipped by a better team in the playoff game but at least they were in it. They beat the sorry Sooners,Candy and a floundering team from tuscaloser. The whole state of Tn owned the gumps this year. I bet Mumphis would have whipped them as well to make the trifecta.

I'm still waiting on the all state playoff predictor by the Bammers. He is trying to get use to reality. Life after daddy Nicky

It's all about the money $$ can potentially make more next year in NIL to the right school than his rookie nfl contract will be
I've been wrong before but I don't see him getting big money. He's undersized and can't stay injury free. Hate to see him go but reality may smack him in the face on what his worth is.

I figure one of the struggling schools with deep pockets wanting to make a big jump next year will pay him because he has produced in the past better than offering a incoming unknown freshman

I may be in the unpopular opinion club. But I hated seeing him in the line up all year and most of last year. Couldn't separate very injury prone this year and for a guy with speed like him I never saw him make anyone miss hardly. And this year if he did catch a pass he fell immediately. With heupel offense we need a legit slot and he isn't one. His freshman year he was fun since then he's been practically a dud.

I don't mean to be a downer but I for one won't miss him. By far my least favorite in the receiver room. Never any yards after the catch because he ALWAYS fell down with every completion even if no one was around. I don't dislike him and hope he does well wherever he goes. More importantly I hope he can stay healthy

I think what happened was that Squirrel probably wanted a little more money and if it hadnt been for Boo Carter wanting to play offense, he might have got it and stayed. No doubt in my mind that Boo is the more dynamic player between the two, which is what we need in the WR room. Squirrel played well at times and gave a lot to the program. He gutted it out through most of the year injured so hats off to him for that. He has a kid and is also married I think so hes doing what he thinks will be best for him and his. Good luck to him.

As far as Boo Carter is concerned, they knew he was wanting more money and to play some on offense ever since Florida game.
