That was just confirming that the Nico thing was worked out. Speculation is that Mathews was going to transfer because he thought Nico was going to transfer.
You would think that a WR would ask his QB directly if there were rumors.

Like Tyrone Prothro in 2005 Bama vs Florida. He shouldn't have been in that game in the 4th quarter. Bama was up 31-3 with 3 minutes left in the 3rd Qtr and neither team scored in the 4th
I will say this about Nico, his dad is a big pain in the a$$. He treats the ad staff like they're his personal waiters. Demands about 30 tickets per game and then expects this guests to be catered to. That wasn't part of the agreement. They're hoping that he spends a lot of time at Arkansas when Nico's brother gets there.

Looking like Bama could be a landing spot for Squirrel. Hes from Alabama and one of his HS team mates plays at Bama.

I doubt he goes there. I'm sure he saw Henry Toot Toot crying like a little girl after he transferred to alabama only to lose to his old Tennessee teammates. Squirrel doesn't want to suffer that same fate next year.

I've seen that as well. Looks like Alabama could be stacked at WR next year.
Maybe they'll have a qb that can distribute the ball.

Negative. Maybe South Alabama or Auburn. He can't stay healthy at his size and brings nothing that Alabama doesn't already have on the roster at WR.
He brings knowledge on how to beat Vanderbilt and Oklahoma. He could share that knowledge with the coaching staff since they are lacking it.

I think he'd be a good addition to the WR room even if it's just competition. Alabama looks to be good on WR's with Williams, Bernard and Horton coming in from Miami.

Henry Came in Two years underdeloped. The damage was done at tn. But I suspect Nick snagged him to keep Kirby from grabbing him.
I agree. He would be a scout team player at the gumps. They have some great receivers.

I tend to agree. But Sabans method was keep another team from getting them and keeping them on ice. So there might be some value in that.
