Try one of those ladyfish as shark bait. Like candy to them.

If you want more flounder, find a run out. Either a creek or a break in the sand bar. Fish a jig with shad style swim tail retrieved about 2" off the bottom, or a 3" live mullet or pogy.

Check the regs carefully if keeping sharks. Some are state and some are federally protected depending on where you fish.

What size hook in the jig head??

Just get a pack of 1/8 or 1/4 oz saltwater jig heads and the hook size should be correct.

Don't horse them, their mouth is paper thin. Just get them to the boat/beach quickly and USE A NET!!! You will loose about half of them if you try and use the line to pick them up.

Either keep em moving and slide them up onto the shore then step on it, or have a landing net ready. You don't want to have if hanging next to the boat while you rummage around looking for a net. Great way for them to throw the hook.

Good luck and have fun!
