String stop question

When you put one on is there any tunning issues? Do you just put it on and get up against the string? Want to get one, but don't want anything to screw up my bow, it's shooting great and ready to hunt.

It might change the POI a little bit, but shouldn't be too much. Most folks set the stopper to where it's just off the string at rest, just enough to slip a business or debit card in between the two.

yeah I was about to say the same thing, just set it back just a hair away from the string.

credit card off the string or it will sound like a slap. Also you need to apply serving at the point of contact or you could replace your string prematurely due to unusual wear.

I put one on my bow but it kept throwing my string silencers and peep off my bow so I took it off.
