Quit ! Talked to the guy who adjoins my property and let's me hunt his yesterday. Gave him a late Christmas gift that I tried to do before Christmas but his gate was locked...guess they were on vacation . But to the point I've got to do some scouting on his side moreso but I've tried to respect the others that hunt his property . Other than a couple places I had no ideal where these deer bed .....that's a shame that I accept as being lazy ....old yes but lazy . I'm going to have to crap or get off the pot . The last few years are not like me in relation to hunting. Yes I don't feel like I used to but that's got to change or just give it up one . I once said and I still hold to it I'm not going to play a game I'm going to kill something !

Need a cattle prod on your @$$? Get up, put the phone down, your pants on, and go enjoy the beautiful sun shiny day. All you're going to accomplish with this quitting talk nonsense is more quitting. So stop talking and go do.
Your exactly right but I have responsibilities that can't wait. With that said I can make time....no excuses .

I feel the same way Snake. I hardly ever make morning hunts. Especially when the temps plummet. I've got to get this lazy azz of my back. I still enjoy being out there when I'm out there. This year has to be different. I'm sick and tired of feeling sick and tired and lazy.

I used to think that people that made excuses for life getting in the way were just not serious hunters, and could hunt if they really wanted to. These past couple of seasons have placed me in the same category now I think. When you're run down, and trying to just keep up enough to just go to work, on top of family obligations and time, hunting time is at a premium anymore. Plus, with empty nest looming, I will stay home if my daughter is home and not out with her friends, just to spend some time with her, and the rest of the family as well. :) Yeah, I'll hunt, when I get time now. :)
