I saw three Strutters in Clarksville this morning at 7:00am 200 yards from a Kroger and 20 yards from a 4 lane highway with no trees in near sight. Strange but awesome thing to see.

Saw my first two about two weeks ago in full strut. I saw one last week and he was by the road. As I stepped on the throttle he threw his head out and gobbled at the diesel exhaust. Had me tore up. :tu:

I saw 4 strutting in a field this afternoon on 840 a couple miles before I-65

I saw around 10-15 this morning with 40 or so hens. still flocked up, but tail fans were up on display.

I saw 3-4 strutters with some other jakes and hens at school today from about 9:00-12:00. Still flocked up. Also had my dad send me this pic

Maybe our flocks in around northern middle TN are weird but they gobble year round. They strut most of the year too.

We occasionally see some of that here in SW TN, but it is not the norm during the fall and winter months.

Andy, those were in your backyard there in Burlison 2 days ago. We have a decent size flock there on a lease. Seen much activity in the past 3-4 weeks. Can't get here soon enough.
