It certainly diesnt hurt, but they always start mid January strutting their stuffI wonder how much this warm weather plays a role in this. I have heard turkeys gobble all through deer season before. I have also witnessed them strutting in November.
Never know when the opportunity will present itself. If you ain't ready you miss outI've always thought it funny how the toms show off and relentlessly follow the hens around early on...while the hens couldn't care less. You'd think being ignored/rejected for days/weeks on end they'd get the picture.

IMPOSSIBLE! Alabama had to move their public land seasons back to April 1 because we were killing them before they were being bred and disrupting the gobbler hierarchy!!!Figured I'd add some spice to this thread. My screen capture below is poor quality, but the video was legit. He was getting after it.
