Went to the pond at Martin yesterday to just waste some time, as I knew the fish weren't gonna bite.
Throwing a Bobby Garland jig and I caught a trout and a bass.
Dang near the middle of May and I am still catching trout at a "put & take" lake.
That is absolutely crazy.

I am SO ready for the weather to warm up just a bit and stabilize for just ONE weekend!!! :bash:

I despise hot weather so I'm enjoying this. What looked to be an early spring starting in early March turned out to be one of the coolest I can remember. I've worn fleece almost everyday turkey hunting. Set a record for rain in April so I'm ready for it to dry off more than anything

Here in the Harpeth river there's always trout in May, but I'm assuming the creek stays colder than the city pond.

I'm sure they do.
Pretty much anything about 70 will do a trout in if sustained.
This place should be at a constant 75 - 80 by now.
