Sugar Bowl!

I thought I was for Georgia before the game started but I'm pretty happy seeing them lose. I wanted to see a good game.

The Notre Dame quarterback had an awesome game even with only 88 passing yards.

You're right . This has to stop . These " bottom feeders" have to quit beating these elite teams. I mean the dawgs have been great for so long these " bottom feeders" must show them more respect and not play so hard . 🙄.

I'm tired of the whole bottom feeder bullchit. But one hard headed Al fan won't stop.
It should be painfully obvious there isn't a huge gap in talent from #1 to #25 like in years prior. It's any given Saturday!

His term bottom feeders has sure caught fire on here. ND played a great game. Congrats on the win.
 
I was rooting for Notre Dame, so glad they won. Even though I root for UT, my heart has been a Big Ten fan my whole life so hard to not be happy with the bowls this year. None more so that Michigan beating Alabama though!
I have no difficulty wanting a conference rival to play well in the playoffs, no matter what sport/team it is. Even graduating from Purdue doesn't make me not root for IU.

I had not heard about this and subconsciously, at minimum, that had to be working on his mind. There will be more ball games but he only has one Dad. Prayers for his Dad and the family.

They really messed up the when they put Oregon and OSU so early in the brackets IMHO. They should have never been playing so early head to head.

I think the seeding was bad for the playoffs. I hope they find a better way to do it next year.

That's it.

I was also surprised that the playoff committee did not drop Texas and Penn State farther after they lost the conference championship games and OSU didn't move above them. I guess they thought both teams performed well enough to not get unduly punished for playing an extra game. I think the committee did pretty well with rankings; seeding was out of their hands.

Can I? I think the only reason it happened the way it did was OSU lost to michigan. OSU beats michigan then these two teams are most likely playing in the semis instead of the quarters. Would have made for much higher ratings down the road.

Best argument I have seen for moving forward with this 12 team garbage next year since they seem hell bent on sticking with it is top 4 seeded teams get a bye the first round. That way you get some of the bottom feeders out of the way and then move onto the second round match ups.

They shouldn't have lost. lol. I mean seriously. Don't like where your team ended up they should have won. If Tn would have beat Ohio you wouldn't have been happy with that?! We can throw out should haves and would haves all day. But none of that means chit. Your mad that Al didn't make it to a top 12 playoff would have you been happier if they wouldn't have made it to the top 4?
 
They need to make the Championship be The Rose Bowl every year on New Years Day. It would probably be bigger than the Super Bowl.

And yes, pretty much everyone sees that the seeding was screwed ip this year, what with byes and automatic seedlings. Keep the 12 team or expand to more, but for heavens sake don't go back to just 4.
