People say Peyton is a choke artist blah blah whatever........

The man just did something only 12!!!! Players have ever done??? When multiple superbowls as the starting QB

The man just did something NO ONE has EVER done win a superbowl as the starting QB with multiple teams!!!

Good job peyton :tu: one of the best to ever play the QB position :super:

Watching NFL PrimeTime on ESPN and got to see Cam Newtons post game. Man he sulled up like a little kid that just got his butt whipped.

He actually said less than Steve Spurrier did the last time the Vols kicked his butt. :rotf: :rotf:

He's mad. Peyton took his ball and left the rodeo.

Probably from a technical standpoint one of the worst played super bowls played by both teams we have seen in many years. Both teams played pretty bad .

With that said its one of the few superbowls I can remember watching in recent years front to back.

Two great defenses on display last night. It was obvious Kubiak had a conservative game plan. They just could not run the ball on those short third down tries to keep drives alive. Oh well, it worked.

It's tough having to DVR the game and watch it after church service without having someone at church telling you the score or seeing it on your phone, etc., but my daughter and I made it.

I actually love watching the games like that. Skip commercials and half time, and finish the game in a little under two hours!

Manning goes down as one the greatest and out a winner! When they flashed the graphic that he was tied with Favre at 199 wins, I told my daughter that was a good omen. What better way to go out than to win #200, making him the winningest ever, and do it in SB 50!

Most passing TDs in a season (55)

Most seasons with at least 4,000 passing yards.

Most passing yards in a season.

Most seasons with at least 20 TDs

Oldest QB to start, And Win the superbowl

Only QB to start, and Win a superbowl with Multiple teams.

This is not even close to all his Records and Stats

But I thought football was a TEAM sport, you all seem to live on the things he did I'm pretty sure that there was 10 other guys on the field! Don't get me wrong I'm glad he's going out on top he deserves it but he looked awfully bad in that game and thanks to the defense the Panthers were overwhelmed

No one person can win a game. It was a team effort but last night it was a defensive game. I was pulling for Denver. I don't think of myself as a racist but I'm sick of hearing "Afro" thrown in front of American as in I'm an Afro-American quarterback. For that reason, as the game progressed I was tickled to death to see Cam's smirk turn into a frown. I thought the halftime stunk and I only saw 1 commercial that I thought was funny; the Doritos with the wife having an ultrasound.

What made him look bad? Carolina had a powerful defense, like Denver. Manning seldom had time to throw a pass, and when he did he was trying to avoid getting sacked. He still did what was needed to win. Not bad for 40 yr. old qb, that missed 6 weeks of the season due to injury. And, is facing hip replacement surgery. Congrats to Peyton, and the whole Denver team.

I gravitate towards AFC teams, but I thought this was Carolina's team to lose. Both teams have good offenses, but this was a defense game. I thought both defenses played well, but Denver's played better and made plays that counted. Cam has a rocket for an arm...but I think he was throwing the ball so hard that his receivers had trouble catching his passes. Peyton threw for less then 150 yds the entire game...he used to easily throw 150 yds in a half. But Peyton has only been doing this in the NFL since the late 90s, and I'm sure that has taken a toll. I'm not a Peyton fan (as far as football goes), but it's good to see him go out on top.

Halftime show...eh. Beyonce has HUGE thighs. Bruno Mars reminds me of a young James Brown. Coldplay...I only know two songs. They're ok. Being that this was in San Francisco, I would liked to have seen Metallica play the halftime show, as they are from the Bay area. It would've been a better show!

Never understood how anyone could dislike Peyton.

Never been in trouble. Never acted like a thug. A model of sportsmanship. Family man. Great to the fans. Humble. Spends his free time at children's hospitals.

Yeah. He's despicable.
I knew I'd catch flack for saying that lol. Let me clarify. I don't like him as a player. I think he is a good guy. It's honestly unwarranted that I don't like him my only explanation is I've grown up around UT fans who worship him and followed his NFL career staying devoted to the player not a team. Almost cult like. Always got sick of how much people worshiped him. That's not his fault at all I respect the heck out of him. Just a personal opinion.

Ask them are they Tebow fans??? He fits the same mold.... :)

Some only look through orange glasses and I wouldn't sweat it... :)
You bet we look through orange glasses... I'm a VOL fan, Manning fan, but a "Tebow" fan as well. Like most fans, we admire-respect Manning, and Tebow for the way they conduct themselves on and off the field. Manning has been a student of the game like no other, and always strived for perfection. Few players have done as much for the State, and charity, as Manning. He is humble, even when they loose. Compared to many of the thugs that some like to idolize, he stands tall IMO.

I thought the same thing, especially also considering that the fourth quarter was the 200th quarter played in Super Bowl history. Pretty cool.

Hope he hangs up the cleats. I think he will, but is going to say so at the right time, not last night. Peyton Manning understands the importance of the message.

Can't get over Newton's complete lack of effort to get his fumble in the fourth quarter.

I've seen two articles saying Budweiser was Not behind peyton saying that.

And they was Actually surprised when they heard it.

Even seen a tweet from Lisa wiser saying " Hi internet, for the record Budweiser did not Pay peyton manning to mention Budweiser tonight. We were surprised and delighted he did".

Hey he likes Bud thats okay, my son works with a guy who went to UT with him and said he was no angel there, but that's okay thats the time to have fun! He's a great person who's show'd how to do it right but it's still quite funny how ya'll see through Peyton colored glasses. Hopefully this HGH issue doesn't taint his legacy

I sorta wondered if that was not staged to get some hits on Youtube and possibly sell some merchandise.
