Suppressed 7mm-08

I finally got my kids Ruger Compact 7mm-08 back from being threaded. It will have the SilencerCo Omega 30 on it. Cant wait for my kids to use it this weekend for juvenile. Anyone else shooting a supressed 7mm-08? We are going to shoot it tonight to see how much the suppressor changes trajectory, if at all.

In my experience, some move little to none and others move a lot. My 18" 308 moved an inch at 100yds but my 45 SML only moved 1/4"

I think some YouTube shooter just did a 7mm-08 with a suppressor… he claimed tighter group

Shot mine this past weekend with a SilencerCo Scythe. It's not movie quiet but it does take the crack out of it and is hearing safe. I like it.

That's entirely possible. Since accuracy nodes are in a big part driven by muzzle velocity, when a suppressor slows velocity, the load could theoretically fall off the node. Or onto the node

We got it dialed in tonight. Like you said it's not movie quiet but it helped a lot. It's a fun gun to shoot. Very light recoil.
