What can I expect this time of year surf fishing Panama City Beach?
I'm going next week and looks like cloudy with rain most days, so I'll do a bunch of fishing with beaches less crowded.

I'd recommend visiting the St Andrew park. We've done well fishing from the jetty over there.

I just left. Silver gotcha plug just past the first fish cleaning area of the pier. 3/4 oz and 1 oz for Spanish. Pompano same area (second sandbar).
I did catch some whiting in the mornings off the beach.

Cut the Whiting head off and chuck it out there. Bulls love fresh whiting

Thanks for the info fellas. I'm flying down and renting equipment. Purely catch and release. I do hate can't bring filets home, but I can't be there and not fish. I'll be fishing next fri, sat, sun.

Damn giving up secrets.....but....personally I would stick to the Santa Rosa Sound......right now. Of course, that is based upon the fact you are looking for the fight and not food.
