Surgery, can I recover in time?

I am just looking for some more information out there if anyone has it on the possibility of recovering in time for archery season this year.I am about to undergo disc replacement, not fusion, on my c6,c7. Has anyone has this or a similar surgery ? And if so what was your recovery time? Do you bowhunt anymore?. Im bummed out about it all but I have no other choice.

I know man im bumming, finally going to be home for the year and this comes up... I guess even with this I got a lot to be thankful for...

Hunt had mine done in Apirl 2013 I am shooting my 70lb bow already. For got to tell you that

wow that was quick... good news. Im hoping that my recovery goes that well...Hopefully I will be smart about it and not rush things
