Tactacam battery issue - Update

They were very responsive. But I'll have to make a trip to the club to retrieve the other camera, and this weather is gonna put a delay on that.

That stinks. Mine have been out all season. Batteries are still 90% plus.

The one having issues dropped to 10 percent in 3 weeks. Still gotta get the other to swap the batteries and try, but the recent weather put a delay on that.

I put out a Reveal 2.0 and an XB in mid-October. The 2.0 died last week during snow and probably got triggered non-stop and burned up the batteries. XB is still going. I'm disappointed it did not get me to green-up.

Both had Energizer lithium's on mock scrape on a ridge.

Still working with Tactacam but their customer service has been excellant.

My tactacams have been decent on batteries. In high traffic places I get about 5 weeks. In low traffic i had some make it through all season. I run energizer max, have 10 second videos on all of them and all send me them immediately. Some of those aren't in great service areas either.

Best customer service ever. They worked with me for a month on this and we never could get it to stop eating batteries. So the sent me a new cam, which is the newer model. Not even sure if I should say this, but they even replaced my other one that was working fine.
