If you watch the Lady Vols on TV you've undoubtedly heard Tamika Catchings doing a game. I wonder what opinions others have. On one hand I'm a big fan of people with disabilities following their dreams and succeeding. On the other hand, if you are going to speak for a living, shouldn't you have a pleasant voice and speak clearly? Like I say, I'm torn. I will admit I'd rather listen to her than Beth Mowins. But that's not saying much. I'd rather listen to 100 people raking their fingers across a chalkboard than Mowins.

She is no doubt a check box hire for the liberal whackjob network ESPN. Softball is one thing, but putting her on Sunday night baseball with 2 men was a joke. Since when does the play by play guy and the color guy need an ex-softball player to be their 3rd wheel? Ugh.

Do you realize Mowins didn't play sports in college??? I assumed she was a superstar softball player. She played basketball, softball, and volleyball in high school. How does someone with a voice like that get a job calling games with no experience as a player beyond high school??? Wow.

Beth Mowins voice could cure diseases. A disease would actually give up and leave rather than listen to her. I had diarrhea this past summer during the womens college softball world series. Five minutes into the first broadcast I was cured. I brought my dog in and her voice wormed the dog. I don't use an alarm system anymore, I use a recorded loop of Beth Mowins voice to keep burglars out of my home. A few unintended consequences did occur. The goldfish hung himself and all the house plants died. I haven't seen a mouse for 3 years.
