Target Buck 10-12 Day Rotation

This guy has been my target since prior to season. I had 1 pic of him last year. He showed back up just before velvet. The 2nd and 3rd pic is the only time he has daylight with hard horns. The last 3 times he has been on camera, has been the opposite side of our farm. All night time photos.

He shows up like clockwork every 10-12 days. He obviously isn't living on us, but I am hoping to run into him when they start doing silly things the next few weeks.

He is due to be back within the next day or two. I usually start worrying right about now, but he has been very consistent in his visits. Luckily we don't have a ton of hunting pressure around us, but a guy still worries LOL!

My kids have named them Captain hook, for the hook on his left G2, and Mr. Smee because they were together each time they were on camera until about october 1st.

Man if your getting pictures every 10 days he might be living on you and just not triggering a camera. I'd be on him like white on rice especially with some day time photos. Most of the bucks I consider shooters I have a hard time just getting pictures of them. Some of them I may only get a couple photos the whole year. If I've got one showing up on camera that I want, I'll really pressure him under the right conditions every chance I get. Good luck.

I would say I agree in most cases, but our property is about 140 acres of mainly CRP, and about 30 acres or so of that is woods. The good thing is our woods backs up to 800-900 acres of all timber that is rarely hunted.

The only pic I have of him from last year is a pic of the right side of his horns. Can't see any body at all.
