Tennessee went 11-2 last year won the orange bowl with backups and still caught a lot of crap from other fan bases. Mostly Bama fans

I think everyone agrees Bama is a competitive team, And No fan base will be surprised to see them in the SEC chip game.

I also don't think anyone will be surprised to see Bama in the same roll LSU was in last year 10-2 "good season" west champion then getting beat by UGA missing the playoffs. No one said that they are not competitive just not on UGAs level.

The counter to that is you barely got by in 2 others and very easily could have had 4 losses. Just playing devils advocate here but 11-2 is a record 99% of teams would kill for every year. When you set the standard as high as they have the last 15 years or so it makes last year feel like they are slipping even though we know that isn't really the case
