That Pop Tart trophy

With his team clinging to a 31–28 halftime lead over the Iowa State Cyclones in Saturday's Pop-Tarts Bowl, Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward decided that his college career was done, as he elected to sit out of the second half of the contest after a terrific final half of his college football career.

Ward, who set the Division I passing touchdowns record in the first half, surpassing former Houston Cougars quarterback Case Keenum with 156 career touchdown passes. Ward would ultimately throw the 157th and 158th touchdown passes of his career before exiting the game.
How can that look good to an NFL team? I wouldn't want a guy that quits on his team at all, but especially mid-game.

Pathetic!

I have despised Miami for decades. I remember the 1992 season when Miami trash talked Bama before their upcoming NC game against the Tide. They were trounced 34-13 and in a later interview Toretta said the first half was a blur and that he had no memory of the 2nd half.
Same, no love for Miami. I remember exactly where I was watching that game - Prince Mongo's Planet in downtown Memphis. That place was covered up with underaged high school girls and NAS Millington personnel buying them drinks and trying to pick them up. Later that night up in the 3rd floor pool room, called out a group of them for what they were up to and one of them snuck me in the back of the head with a cue. My brother and several friends were with me, we all fought our way back downstairs to the sidewalk out front. It broke up shortly after when somebody from the crowd watching slung a Cisco bottle into the fray and cracked one of their guys in the dome piece.
