You forget to turn your ringer off again? There is a certain bird you don't hear sing much, but in all my years hunting (30) every time I hear that bird song, I never see a deer. I just heard the 5 notes it sings. Dang it!!!
Lol. Nah I'd hear those old sad notes back before I even had a cell phone. I need to find out what kind of bird it is. 1,2,3,4,5-5-5-5 is the note. You forget to turn your ringer off again?
You've got me curious now. LOLLol. Nah I'd hear those old sad notes back before I even had a cell phone. I need to find out what kind of bird it is. 1,2,3,4,5-5-5-5 is the note.
I'm sure I'm just being superstitious and I know it's not the bird's but I hate it when I hear that bird. Lol.Not sure which bird that is that you are talking about, but I know a lot of times crows and some other birds go nuts when deer are moving under them. Have had them tip me off which way to watch for deer many times.
If I could sing the note I'd do it but that would run the squirrels off too. So I'll just sit here and watch the squirrels. Cause there ain't no deer gonna show up now! You've got me curious now. LOL
I wonder if it could be a cardinal you're hearing.
I loaded the app. It's got a recorder. Hopefully I can catch one singing the song and identify it after I upload the recording. But that will mean I won't see a deer. LolCornell University's Merli app identifies birds by their song. It is in the top 5 best apps, in my opinion. It has made me very interested in it.
Holy crap it worked. It is the song of a White Throated Sparrow!Cornell University's Merli app identifies birds by their song. It is in the top 5 best apps, in my opinion. It has made me very interested in it.
