Can I say all of them?
All hunts are exiciting to me whether I kill or not, which is what keeps me going. But there is one that stands out to me the most that "pisses me off"
I was once hunting some private land that the owners allow several other people to hunt. When I got to the land, there was already a truck at the spot I was planning on going, but it didn't bother me because it is about 900 acres with birds on it everywhere, I just went on down the road to a different spot. Parked the truck, walked up hill, and started listening. As normal turkeys started gobbling here and there and everywhere. Some gobbled relatively close to me so I set down to them. I was sitting, I hear the worst human imitation of an owl hoot ever, not far from me. I immediately turned on my flashlight, shined it on them, and they shined back but kept going. Whoever it was ended up spooking the birds by shooting at them. I believe they were still in the trees.
About an half hour later, still mad, I moved on to some other turkeys that were gobbling and strutting in a cow pasture. I was on the edge watching them, not knowing how to go about getting on them. Then the turkeys sprinted into the woods on the otherside. I look to my left and a hunter is walking straight through the pasture. I assume it was the same one from the early morning.
Everytime I think of this hunt it makes me angry.
I guess everybody has the right to hunt and I am sure he had a permit but we should all be considerate of each other. I would never walk on top of somebody I knew was there for safety reasons and for courtesy. It was almost like he was just following me around.
