I know setterman has one on order. ;)

I can't find a picture of one on any website that I can open right now.
Kinda funny a friend of mine and me were talking about this a few years ago and I be dang if someone ain't got them for sale.
Saw it in the BPS paper this weekend.

Strutting tom decoy mounted on an actual RC truck without the truck body.
Complete with controller and all. :D

Thought about doing that about 4-5 years ago. Told some friends and they thought the idea was stupid

That might be fun. I can imagine chasing turkeys with it or using it to terrify my dogs

It also takes skill to drive that dude in the fields here with all the rocks and steep hills

So between Setterman and Cowman who does the controlling and who does the shooting?

Also can you mount a big spider instead of a decoy to scare off other hunters?

I think it'd be even more fun
to slip it up behind a particular turkey hunter I know as he's sitting half asleep in his turkey "lounger" :tu:
Can you push a button to make it gobble, and really LOUD!

Well, kinda, sorta. :)
The "big spider" is a "jack in the box" OPTION, that mounts BEHIND the Big Fanning Tom!

Yes, the BIG BAD SPIDER will JUMP, like a "jack in the box", and it jumps OVER the head of the Big Fanning Tom, at the push of a button.

Imagine this video going viral:

You see Ruger sleeping in the turkey woods; the "Instigator" slips up behind him to about 5 yards, then GOOBLES LOUDLY. :tu:
Of course, the Ruger will have to turn around, and upon his making eye contact with the "Instigator", you push the button . . . . . .
BIG BAD SPIDER JUMPS over "The Instigator", HURLING to the Ruger. :P

I'm definitely grabbing the controller way too much fun not to have that job

We'll use it to run right over as many fanners as possible :super:

Saw it at BPS. It'd be fun to play with and see how turkeys react, but I don't have any desire to hunt with one.

What are the odds this is outlawed in TN in the next few years?

Little if any, and honestly I'm not sure I'm ready for TWRA to take such measures. As much as I disagree with some of the new tactics and gadgets I hate to see the govt overstep and start outlawing stuff
.

I actually looked at it this weekend at bass pro. $300 bucks and it's yours
and it would be all too easy to get a RC car and stick a decoy on top of it for maybe half the price or less

I've built RC planes on and off the past 8 or 9 years and have had the idea before to make a flying turkey, not for hunting but just for the amusement

That's what I was thinking. Can you get a lift kit and bigger tires??

Ya'll are funny. :)

I actually have hunted over a strutting decoy that moved.
All it did was turn in a circle (in one spot) then when you push the button again it would turn the opposite direction.

In all honesty it is the ONLY decoy I have ever seen a positive reaction from real turkey's with.
