The legend of the Big 10

Fantastic story! Congrats fairchaser, that's a heck of a buck!

Any idea on score?

Also amazed his leg injury did not produce major changes to his antler configuration. Gives me hope considering how banged up my local buck population is right now. Just about everybody is limping from fights.

It is amazing his leg injury did not cause any antler irregularities at least by the second year afterward. He scored 157 6/8 and weighed 134# and was a 4.5 year old. The scores are in the pics if you want details. Thanks

So the answer to your question from a season or so back is yes there is life after cwd! That's an amazing buck sir! Huge Congrats!!!
There is life after CWD but after this buck was killed, all the hunters went home. There's nothing left to shoot that we have pics of. Next year will be tough too because all the up and comers were also killed. I'm keeping my fingers crossed however.

He definitely had become famous in that area, I kept hoping he would travel just a little farther but I'm at least glad someone I knew was able to get him. If you want him officially scored after 60 days just let me know, it'd be cool to put a famous deer from my area in the books.
