I just talked to an old friend of mine, he told me about his season and the turkeys he killed. He got permission to hunt a new place with an over grown homestead. He found where some kids had built an old clubhouse near a pasture. He said it worked perfectly they even left a folding chair. Anyway, there was a group of gobblers that would strut in the field most days he was there and he would call to them with his regular hen calls. He said they would gobble and strut but never come in until he blew that squeeler and then they would race toward his hide. I think he missed 2 and killed 2 more over the course of the season there. Anyway, I thought it was a funny story.
