They get a bad rap

A couple of weeks ago I ordered 3 of the original style chamber brushes and today I used one to clean the chamber real good. The difference in before and after was quite a surprise when I bore scoped it. Next, I removed the set screw that holds the little stainless or nickel plated BB in the gas block. The BB was stuck but after a shot of Kroil it came right out. Cleaned the BB, the gas port orifice and short tube that works the action and put that back together. Should have S&K scope mounts and rings by the end of the week and then I have a selection of scopes for my son to choose from. His birthday is Sunday and life is GOOD!

I never had the auto but I did have a 760 pump. The jamming I had wasnt in the rifle action but in the clip. You had to keep that clip( esp. the front) rust free, clean and lightly oiled. It cost me a nice one once. Once I got the clip clean I never had any problems outta it. It was an accurate rifle.
