They're so young...

Mackelwang and the ole ball coach has just this week talked about young contributors. Don't let butch jones mention it though. Apparently that isn't allowed.

14 Sr.......... :D UT has 19 Sr.... Ummmm Some thing is not adding up..... :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

I think the point is every UT fan and news outlets have been harping about the freshman at UT for 3 years now. That excuse is no longer valid for Vol fans.

I was pointing it out to Wrangler that the media and coaches can be misleading.... :)

You got that right. If cool slogans and cliches won championships Butch would have a ring on every finger.

:tu:
Results would be quite different if only scholarship players were listed. There is a huge amount of walk on players at UF that may never play. There are somewhere around 32 freshmen and redshirt freshman on UF's roster, but close to the same on the Vols. :tu:

Using the same #s from both rosters from the same site...... :)

Kind of like CBJ talking about 20 fr. Playing but more than half are only playing on special teams. Probably only 3 or 4 freshman played meaningful snaps against OK???? :tu:

I used UF's roster from Gatorbait---same as Tenn----Rivals. :tu:
I believe I counted only 81 scholarship players on UF. Saving 4 it looks like

You try to hard to make the #s work to your advantage. The original debate never said anything about scholarship players and all the original #s reflect that.... :)

I was debating Wranglers #s... :)
