They're so young...

No other team has had the number of true freshman start over t he past couple of years. Fact!

But you won't see Richt talking about how many freshman he has playing.......

"When you've got nine true freshmen running down the field or whatever it was and you've got the all learning at the same time, that's not really healthy," Richt said. "If you're sprinkling two or three in and you've got a bunch of veterans to show the way, it's not so bad. But we've got a bunch of puppies in there right now."

Spurhunter, can we get a ruling on these guys? I know what you'd say if they were Bammers, but they're Georgia fans.

I love TN fans. With every new coach, they think they've found the next Bear Bryant. Richt has won two SEC championships and four division titles. And, since 2001 has had one losing season. I'm not sure Butch will make it as long as Richt has in the SEC.

The ruling is they are passionate fans. Not the sharpest knives in the drawer obviously. I mean, they ARE Georgia fans. But they seem alright to me. If you catch them walking around in plaid (calling it something else), wearing maroon (calling it something else), marrying their cousins, inserting "roll tide" into every sentence, worshipping a dead bear, flying A's with mullets on their trailers and 1978 "Shivalays", and bragging about mythical National Championships we might have a problem.
