Reading through the warranty info of a few bow companies and I ran across this.

All bows must undergo string and cable changes every 5,000 shots or every 12 months to maintain
PSE warranty coverage.

Looks like a way to weasel out of fixing a bow that might have broken under a lifetime warranty. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not gonna buy a bow that I have to spend a $100 a year just to keep up a warranty.

Got an 07 X-Force 6 with original string / cable with way more than 5k shots. String still looks to be in great shape, but I might replace it this year if I don't purchase the PSE Omen

I had a PSE Firestorm X a couple years back and cracked a bottom limb. Called customer service and was told to take it to a PSE dealer. I didnt like dealing with the PSE dealer closest to me and the lady told me to ship it directly to PSE. I did. A week later bran new limbs, cam, strings, cables, and dampners at NO cost.

I had a similar pleasant experience with PSE costumer service.

No issues with PSE for me. Never had a problem. Been shooting a 2000 model for 11 years now and just changed the string and cable this year.

Oh yeah... how have you been sidewinder. Have not heard from you in a while.
