Time to get my new set up for next season sighted in.

Took some time to find the barrel for my encore frame. Then I bought pro hunter stock and fore end for it. The scope came with the 30/06 barrel. I am going to assume it will be on paper when I shoot. Now don't get excited about my trophy bucks lol.

Same here! Pulled it out for the last hunt this weekend and just put her away til next year.

I just traded for one with a 308 pro hunter barrel. Gonna shoot it some to see if it's anything I wanna keep.

Some words of advice if you bought this off ebay and don't know who mounted the scope. I would check torque on both the bases and scope rings prior to shooting it if it were me. I hate to have to do that but have in the past to make sure everything is correct.

If you haven't seen it already, check out his YouTube video where he's unboxing some of the vintage pieces that he got back from S&W. There's an engraved Contender set that's incredible and a couple falling block rifles that are eerily similar to Ruger no. 1s that never made production. Another switch barrel gun that was cool too. Greg seemed to like it and suggests it may go back into production.

Yes sir, I've watched all the tc comeback videos on the tube, im more excited than a three peckered puppy waiting on the release!!!
