Timed getting up and down tree with climber

I don't understand what difference it makes how long it takes to climb a tree. If you are slow then leave the house 5 minutes earlier. The old saying holds true in this case "Speed Kills". If you are dead the deer won't be killed by you. Just enjoy Gods great outdoors and be safe. The kill is just a bonus.
