My 12 y.o. son killed a doe juvenile morning and said he wanted to sleep in this weekend. He should have made the trip. Yesterday I cleared out a known buck trail that had gotten plugged up by some fallen trees. At the end of it where it met my food plot field I put a mock scrape in and added some doe pee and left.

Had a couple of doe come in early and acting suspicious. I hit the grunt a few times and within seconds I had a small basket 8 come in looking everywhere for me. He left and I hit the grunt again and within a minute or 2 this guy came right down the trail I opened up yesterday and went right to my mock scrap at 20 yards. Finally heating up around me.
