TN/KY Sat 11:00

One of the best free throw games I've ever seen Ky have going 22-25. Goes to show free throws can and will win games. To top that out rebounding TN by about 20 helped Ky. I expected a double digit blow out favoring TN. Maybe, just maybe this is the game to get Ky going. Not holding my breath but with some players out and more guys coming off the bench maybe this team can get it together. TN is good and big and will bounce back from this loss and have a chip on their shoulder and put it on other teams now. I like Plasvic's rivalry attitude and how dirty he plays against Ky. He's a physical guy that gets downright dirty in every Ky game. I would've liked to have seen an elbow to the nose but I like how tough he is and makes Ky have to play tough against him. Zeigler is my favorite TN player which he had some bonehead plays today but I've always liked him.
I think this is spot on.

Uros doesn't just play dirty against UK, he's borderline dirty all the time. Borderline…sometimes it's a great spark and sometimes it's too much.
This is why I was slow to fall in love with the hype, we can be anemic offensively and today was pretty damn bad. Olivier disappears some in big games, but lots of guys did today.
But credit to UK their effort was there and that really shows in the rebound and free throw differential.
We'll see how it goes. This time last year UK beat our doors off and it put us on a pretty good run afterwards. Does it fix what ails UK? Does it send us down the drain or get us focused for the home stretch? Who the hell knows.
