TN vs Vandy

6 th seed NCAA at best!

😆

Can't believe we fought back and had a chance.

Can't believe Lanier missed the FT.

We have to have a 3rd scorer. Milocic tried but he's not it. Gainey is too streaky.

Not having a post scorer will be the detriment of this team.

Watched highlights. Vandy showed a lot of grit it appears. Their stop at the end was impressive
I don't know if I'd call it impressive. They got lucky. 9-0 run the vols had the last almost 3 minutes of the game. They got lucky that the vols didn't hit that last free throw and also that they deflected the rebound. They somehow ran away with a win. Did well throughout the game, but then started playing not to lose (hate that strategy)

TN will be just fine. auburn looks great so far.
arky looks very underwhelming after getting calipari. TX and OU are having buyers remorse and Every other sec program can win or lose any given game.

from what ive read, vandy should be ranked now

Good for them, they can join the other 10 or so ranked SEC teams.

Both FL and Vandy come to TBA, in a few weeks. Hopefully, payback will be served.

This week gets no easier with #15-Miss St at home and @#1 Auburn next Saturday.

Vandy's gym with the raised floor always seems to be a place where good teams find themselves in trouble and Vandy basketball has been pretty decent at home. TN will be fine. Basketball ain't like football. The losses don't hurt near as bad when it's against serviceable competition.

Its definitely good for a school like Vandy, who been purgatory for over a decade, to be ranked. After the budgetary restrictions and academic restrictions they face, coupled with a couple of awful coaching hire, its nice to see them reach some success, in my eyes at least. This is the first yr in a very long time, where both there basketball team and football team became nationally ranked (maybe baseball but i dont care about that one).

UT is probably a better team and will probably advance further, but Vanderbilt is an Tennessee based SEC school as well and i think its nice if they both have success.
