Tough Bow Season

Keep bowhunting through November , and you will experience some of the best bowhunting of the season . I don't even get fired up about bowhunting until this month , and that's when I use all my vacation time . Bring it on !

I'm glad one of my best spots is archery only. Get to see some real neat stuff in the woods up close!

I have an archery only public draw hunt here in Mo. That starts next week and runs through November . I have scouted it out and found a great spot surrounded by very thick briars with an abundance of sign . I have a route to get in there and opening to get a clear shot , but the hard part will be hauling a deer out If they make it to the briars . The place is full of deer and the MDC wants us to thin the does . I saw 15 when I went out there early in the morning last weekend to observe thier movements .
I have a plan and I'm looking forward to the hunt ! Good luck the remainder of the season . Never give up !

I was thinking. I'm not sure I had a single hunt that I didn't see a deer. As far as the killing goes, it was about average for me-5. I didn't hunt a great deal, maybe went 10 times. Just hunted the days I felt really well. I think two ro three afternoons, the rest mornings.
