I seem to be getting a lot of very close shots of deer lately that only show their backs or necks and partial head shots. My question is, "Is this a common problem for a camera being mounted to low(or high)? I've moved it a couple of times and seem to get a lot of the same type of pictures.

I get too much of these type of pictures:

You may move it to a tree a little further back, if that is an option. Cams too close to trails can result in the back pics like you are getting. Hillbilly Hunter is right on the doe being nosey. They know the camera is something different, whether they see them or smell them, they often notice them.
