Just ordered a dozen of the hailfire arrows from trophy ridge!
I have read good reviews on them and they say they are extremely tough!
They should be here by Monday and then I will get them all set up for them thunderchickens in 30 days!

Anybody else on here shoot em?

Well they came in yesterday and all I can say is they look awesome! I love the finish on these arrows! Gonna try and shoot some today after church and see how they fly!

And???

I've shot them. They are really tough arrows and seem accurate, but I didn't care for the outsert. Other than that, they are great.

Here is the big question...Would you buy them again and is this the arrow you would hunt with?

By the way Thanks...

I will give you first hand account on these arrows. I got a half a dozen of the Trophy Ridge Blast. I shot a whole lot with them last year. They were my target arrows and my hunting arrows. I actually used the Extreme fletch shrink wrap blazers. They all still look brand new and as slick as the day I got them. I was lucky to harvest two deer last year and both was with the same arrow! One was almost a complete pass though at 30 yards and the other was almost a complete pass through at 35 yards. I seen a buddy actually shoot one and it hit a wall, didnt do anything to the arrow, but messed up the nock and the tip.
Now with that being said, as bad as I hate to say it, they are pricey and I probably wouldnt be able to buy them again..LOL. actually I got 4 free when they gave them away, so that was a bonus on top of the 6 I have. I think you will love them, the outsert tip will take some getting used too, but I think it actually helps in pulling the arrow out when target shooting. Hope this helps.

Well I was finally able to shoot a little bit last night! Did not get to shoot much but I like them so far! I know one thing! The silent slide coating works! They make no sound when coming across my whisker biscuit. They seem to be accurate too. Shot about a 2 inch group at 40 with 4 arrows. Hopefully I will get to shoot them alot more this week. I think they will be a great hunting arrow!

I actually thought they were pretty cheap? Give $65 cut and ready to shoot off ebay.

Well you got a great deal! Try pricing them from a dealer honestly. I havent priced them since before Christmas. Im not sure about the hailfires and the blast in comparison. They have different names for there arrows for their straightness. I think you will like them honestly!!!
I just looked on ebay, they have come down some actually for mine also. anywhere between 80-110 a dozen. The $80 is the cheapest I have seen them. Well keep us up to date on your progress with them. Like I said earlier, I dont think you will be disappointed come hunting season!

Just curious? Why do you like the gold tips over the trophy ridge arrows? Just wondering because I shot gold tips up untill I tried these arrows and I think I am going to like these alot more than the gold tips.

I didn't like the outsert at all. I can't figure why in the would they would put those on an arrow. Also, I think the Trophy Ridge arrows would have a bit of a shine if sun shines directly on them. That could be big trouble this fall in a treestand. Don't get me wrong, the Trophy Ridge arrows are nice and fly well, but to me, they aren't worth switching to over Gold Tips.

Buck Assassin,

My 2 cents...I have tried almost every arrow on the market and yet I still come back to Gold Tips...Maybe it's all in my head LOL!!
I don't base that on just my hunting bow but also my target bow. I try to use the same arrows in my target bow as I hunt with. Doing that I know I drop some points but it is about just shooting and not competing. JMO...

Really? I actually thought the outserts were great. I have had numerous arrows snap off right at the insert. Maybe these will take care of that problem. Trophy ridge says it is supposed to. We will find out! They are shiny but I don't think that will be much of an issue. The big thing I like about these arrows so far is how quiet they are. My gold tips made a awfull hiss when coming across my whisker biscuit, the trophy ridges are silent.

Here is a question for ya! Do you think the gold tips are a more durable arrow? Wondering because I had two gold tips split last year after hitting the dirt.I really wasn't impressed with that.

I don't know about the durability of Trophy Ridges. I only shot them into a bag target. They look sturdy. I've never had any issues with Gold Tips.
