Trout in spring hill?

I was north of the Saturn plant the other day and a guy was walking down the road with a spinning rod and what looked to be a can of corn... Just wondering if there are trout anywhere around spring hill? The creek he was heading to was only about 4-5 feet wide and maybe a foot deep..

Spring Hill gets stocked as part of TWRA's winter stocking to non native areas. Typically average 10 inch rainbows. So click the schedule and it will give you the dates of when they are stocking.

You should see that creek when they stock it, the bank will be lined with fishermen. Yes it's a small creek but they put trout in it each month from December till March.

Yep, the trout release brings out all us desperate fellers eager to wet a winter line. It's not the most challenging fishing in the world, but it's not a bad way to stand on a bank.
