Shot my daughters youth Rem 870 20 gauge today, set up with a red dot, TSS #9 and a Carlson choke. I must say I am very impressed. Might try it out myself when she is not with me.

It will definitely do the trick. I switched to the same setup a few years ago after seeing how well my son's shot with heavy weight loads. The 12 hasn't been out of the safe in 3 years.
I got started the same way! I was setting up a Mossberg Maverick youth model 20 for my son with the Federal HVW #7. I was so impressed that I started carrying it when he didn't go! It was over at that point , I have never carried a 12 since. The TSS #9 is amazing stuff and Carlson makes a great choke tube!
